Bespoke tuition, built around the individual
From building foundations to aiming for the highest grades, our tuition starts with the student: where they are now, what they want to achieve and what will help them get there.
We provide specialist one-to-one tuition across East Sussex and Essex, supporting children and young people throughout their education.
Primary
Strong foundations matter, but so does how children feel about learning.
Our Primary tutors support children across the core curriculum, including English and Maths, adapting lessons to the child's individual strengths, needs and interests.
Whether a child needs help filling gaps, building confidence or greater challenge than they're currently receiving, we aim to make learning purposeful, engaging and enjoyable.
Entrance Exams
Entrance exams require preparation, but they don't need to take over a child's life.
We provide individual preparation for 11+ and independent school entrance exams, including English, Maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning where appropriate.
Preparation is tailored to the child and the requirements of their chosen schools, combining knowledge and skills with exam technique, timed practice and confidence-building.
Our aim is purposeful preparation without unnecessary pressure.
Neurodiversity and SEND
There is no one way to learn.
We have experience supporting neurodivergent students and young people with a range of additional needs. Rather than starting with a label, we get to know the individual — how they process information, what helps them engage and where the barriers to learning may be.
Needing a different approach doesn't mean lowering expectations. Neurodivergent students and those with SEND may need additional support, greater challenge, or both.
Our aim is always to find the approach that allows the individual student to flourish.
Secondary
As students progress through Secondary school, the demands increase — and sometimes their grades don't reflect what they actually know.
Our tutors combine strong subject knowledge with focused, structured teaching. We identify gaps, strengthen understanding and develop the skills students need to work increasingly independently.
As exams approach, we focus closely on exam technique: understanding what questions are really asking, recognising where marks are being gained or lost and learning how to demonstrate knowledge effectively.
Sometimes progress isn't about knowing more — it's about learning how to make what you already know count.
Home Education
One of the great strengths of home education is the freedom to create an education around the individual child.
We work with home-educating families in a variety of ways, from specialist tuition in individual subjects to ongoing academic support and preparation for formal qualifications.
Teaching can be shaped around a young person's interests, strengths, learning needs and wider home-education programme, while providing structure and academic expertise where it's useful.
High Achievers
Tuition isn't only for students who are struggling.
For students already achieving highly, one-to-one teaching creates space to go further: exploring more sophisticated ideas, tackling challenging material and developing the precision and depth needed for the highest levels of academic achievement.
