Accessibility statement
Written in plain English. If anything is unclear, just ask.
Last updated 28 October 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Many of the families we work with are neurodivergent, and that shaped how the site is built.
The standard we aim for
The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It works with a keyboard alone and with screen readers, every form field has a label, images have text descriptions, colour contrast meets AA, the text can be enlarged to 200% without breaking the layout, and animation is kept to a minimum and switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
The body text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute so that letters that are easily confused, such as I, l and 1, or b and d, look clearly different.
Known limitations
Links to other websites, such as Kent County Council and the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex, take you to pages we do not control. If anything else is hard to use, we would like to know.
Tell us about a problem
Email grace@emersontuition.co.uk or call 07716 131813. Tell us the page and what went wrong and we will help, and fix it. You are always welcome to enquire by phone or email instead of using the form.
