about Sarah
Hi! I’m Sarah and I’ve been teaching for 13 years and have been tutoring since 2017. I have worked right across the Primary age range, including in Year 6, and have also tutored for the 11+. I have been fortunate enough to work in a wide variety of different schools and with children with a variety of different needs.
During my time as a teacher, whilst on maternity leave, I have also led reading-based baby classes, which I thoroughly enjoyed as I believe reading, even at such a young age, is fundamental to a child’s learning. I thoroughly enjoy reading myself in my own time!
I believe learning should be child led as much as possible, and so I adapt my teaching to suit the needs of the learner and their particular gaps. I am friendly and approachable and look forward to working closely with many families to come.
