Hi, I’m Ruby, a passionate and experienced educator with over 7 years of teaching in primary education. I work with children across all primary year groups and also support families who are home educating, offering a tailored and compassionate approach to learning that reflects each child’s unique needs.

What I love most about tutoring is the opportunity to personalise learning: to really tune in to how each child learns best, building their confidence and helping them thrive. Whether it’s preparing for SATs or supporting core literacy and numeracy skills, I take great pride in creating an environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn.

At Emerson Tuition, we believe learning should feel meaningful and enjoyable, and I bring this philosophy into every session. My lessons are lively, creative, and packed with opportunities to explore, question, and imagine. From hands-on activities to storytelling and play-based learning, I aim to make each session something children look forward to.

I understand that confidence is at the heart of progress. That’s why I focus not only on academic achievement, but also on nurturing each child’s self-belief and independence, helping them grow into resilient, curious learners who feel empowered in their education.

Outside of tutoring, I’m an avid reader and love exploring new ways to engage with the world through books and imaginative play, something I often bring into sessions to inspire and motivate the children I work with.
