about Natalie
Bespoke English tuition with Natalie: tailored support for confident, capable learners.
Natalie is a fully qualified and experienced English teacher offering personalised tuition for students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. She also has experience of teaching English and Maths at Key Stages 1 and 2. With over four years of classroom experience and a strong background in one-to-one tutoring, she supports learners at both primary and secondary stages, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their academic potential.
Natalie works with students of all abilities, from early readers and writers in primary school to teenagers preparing for English Language and Literature GCSEs. She is familiar with both the Edexcel and AQA syllabuses and, as a trained AQA English Language examiner, brings a detailed understanding of exam requirements and marking criteria. This allows her to equip older students with the tools they need to succeed, while also providing a strong foundation for younger learners as they build literacy skills and grow into confident communicators.
Whether supporting a Year 3 child with reading comprehension or guiding a Year 11 student through Shakespeare and essay writing, she adapts her teaching to suit each learner’s needs, goals, and preferred learning style.
Natalie understands that every child learns differently. Whether a student has a diagnosable learning need or simply benefits from a more creative or structured approach, she is skilled at identifying the most effective strategies for engagement and progress. With personal experience supporting family members with autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and partial deafness, she brings a deep commitment to inclusive education and a warm, empathetic approach to her teaching.
She is especially sensitive to learners who may face exam anxiety or a lack of confidence, and her lessons are thoughtfully designed to build self-belief alongside academic ability. Through encouragement, clear guidance, and engaging content, Natalie helps every student feel seen, supported, and capable of success.
Passionate about theatre and literature, Natalie brings creativity and energy to every lesson. Whether your child needs targeted exam preparation or a renewed love for reading and writing, Natalie provides tuition that is both effective and inspiring.
